Born in Virginia, and raised in Jacksonville, Fl, I have always had a love of all things food and art. I came to Tampa in 2013, and met many great people who taught me the importance of taking chances and going after what you love. Passionate about cooking and baking from a young age, I rediscovered my love for the Kitchen in 2017. I scoured the internet, (and YouTube of course), for any bit of information I could find to begin making small gifts for friends in the form of cookies and cupcakes. In June of 2017, Sammie Cakes was born. It has been a journey of trial and error, sleepless nights, endless passion and self discovery. I could not be happier to let my creativity shine through edible art, and I look forward to bringing your ideas to life!
